Panevėžys County Gabrielė Petkevičaitė-Bitė Public Library (Lithuania) connected with two Finnish public libraries in NAPLE Sister Libraries program. The partnership was established with Pyhäjoki Municipal Library and Kuusamo City Library.
The libraries defined the grounds of the cooperation: exchange of good practice and job experience, search new ways of promoting reading, learning about each others culture and heritage.
In their cooperation the libraries will pay special attention to sharing their experience in the field of initiatives with their local communities.
With this new sistership, NAPLE Sister Libraries has reached
52 COUPLES OF SISTER LIBRARIES
amongst all the participants!
