NAPLE Sister Libraries is a cooperation programme of the NAPLE Forum. It is open to public libraries situated in any of the participating NAPLE countries/region.
In NAPLE Sister Libraries we believe in cooperation as a tool to design better library services and activities. To promote cooperation between Public Libraries in Europe we offer a platform where libraries can get to know each other, showcase the activities they develop and find inspiration.
The coordinator of the programme is Spain (Subdirectorate General for Library Cooperation, Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports).
There are representatives of the program in the countries that are NAPLE members. It can be the member of NAPLE or someone else he or she appoints. What is expected from them is:
- To promote the program within PLs of their country.
- To help disseminate the campaigns we launch
- To be the link between the Secretariat of the program and the PLs.
