We are very happy to announce that we have a new library in the programme, the 20th Croatian library to join NAPLE Sister Libraries.

Opuzen Town Library serves a population of 2.500 inhabitants in Southern Croatia. They are strongly connected with the public school, acting as a complement to the formal education of the children. They are interested in connecting with other public libraries for, amongst other things, the interchange of expertise and experiences.

If you want to know more about them, and what they are looking for just go to the Libraries Section and click on its name. You’ll find it in Croatia.  You’ll also find there a detailed description of their activities and the specific project they want to develop in the Sister Libraries Program.

With this new incorporation, the programme reaches:

96 European public libraries participating!
