The Municipal Library Camilo Castelo Branco, from Vila Nova de Famalicão (Portugal), aware of the importance of the 2030 Agenda and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, has been promoting the project “SGD: together we change a world”. As evidence of this work, the Municipal Library Camilo Castelo Branco is now showing the result of the first edition of the Creative Writing Contest, entitled “All for a better world”, and informing that it is already available, in the interactive digital book version , in Portuguese and English, the first short story that will constitute the future digital collection of the 17 representative stories of the 17 SDGs.
This first interactive digital book, entitled “Mariana’s concerns”, is by the students of the Basic School of Gondifelos, and results in the authors’ interpretation of the theme of SGD1 “Eradicate Poverty”. Already in the process of adapting to the version of an interactive digital book, also in Portuguese and in English, there are two more stories referring to SDG2 “Eradicate Hunger”, which will be made public next March 2021, and SDG3 “Quality Health””, which will be made public in May 2021. You can access the book (available in Portuguese and English) through this link.
