We are very happy to announce a new sistership in the Program: Castropol Public Library “Menéndez Pelayo” (Spain) is now connected with Prelog Municipal Library (Croatia).
Castropol Public Library was the last library to join the program, we announced their incorporation only last week! They got in touch with Prelog and soon came to an agreement for cooperating. They are now in the process of knowing each other better: Castropol is making a presentation of the history of the library through their photographic archive. This presentation will be completed with pictures of today, compiled with the help of the children of the area. They are planning to do a photographic contest for children to gather the pictures of the town, the landscape, etc.
In the next days, these 2 libraries will connect through Skype to discuss the grounds of their agreement. And we’ll inform you about all the activities they develop together in what looks like a very fruitful partnership.
With these new sistership, NAPLE Sister Libraries has reached
43 COUPLES OF SISTER LIBRARIES
amongst all the participants!
Would you like to have a sister library as well? It’s very easy, you just have to fill in the e-Form. Once you become part of the program, we’ll guide you through the process!
