Another activity from Public library Fran Galović (Croatia), who has been very committed in sending us the activities they have planned for this summer. Dijana Sabolović-Krajina, director of the library, explains this activity:
The Digital Lab is a new IT program where kids can learn what the BBC micro:bits are, how to use interesting web 2.0 tools and useful web pages for mastering school lessons. The eearlier program was completed with robotics theme (micro:bits) after occasional robotics workshops caused great interest. It will not be held only through the summer but through all year. Target group are children from 9 to 14 years, and it is run by librarians in Children’s Department. For preschool children there is “Playing and exploring tablet computers” where kids are introduced with educational applications for learning preschools reading and writing skills.
