We’ve received a request from a library in Lithuania that’d be interested in establishing a sistership with another library.

Its preferred countries are Czechia, Finland and Poland but will consider propositions from libraries in other countries.

The lithuanian library is Panevezys Elena Mezginaite Public Library. They serve children, so they’d like to have sistership with public libraries that have a focus on children. They are very active and organize meetings with children authors, read books, do art exhibitions, etc. They also prepare educational activities (real and virtual), and invite children to spend their summer, winter and autumn holidays in the library.

If your library is interested in starting a partnership with this library, you can contact NAPLE Sister Libraries Secretariat at naple.sisterlibraries@gmail.com
