Today we have news fromthe first sistership of 2014 between the the recently incorporated Viana Public Library “Francisco Navarro Villoslada” (Spain) and Public Library in Aleksandrow (Poland).
Justyna Bździuch, from Aleksandrow, tells us about it:
I would like to inform that the Public Library in Viana (Spain) and Public Library in Aleksandrów (Poland) have started a joint action, which aims to recommend some books.
The Polish library recommends books by Polish writers translated into Spanish to the Spanish library and the Spanish library recommends books by Spanish writers translated into Polish. Next, the librarians ask readers about their feelings after reading the books and exchange these informations.
We hope, that through this action we will see a lot of interesting books!

Fantastic! Congratulations to both libraries. The first proposed activity is perfect to start this relationship, I think. I would like to know the opinion of readers about selected books.
