2017 is an important year for EBLIDA, as it celebrates its 25th anniversary since its creation in 1992. For this reason, the topic for this year’s annual Conference, celebrated in cooperation with NAPLE, suits them perfectly: let’s rethink, moto for the Aarhus (Denmark), European Capital for Culture 2017.

Public library in Aarhus, Dokk1, welcomes the 2017 EBLIDA NAPLE Annual Council and Conference next 3rd-4th May, 2017. This fantastic library was the winner of “Public Library of the Year 2016” award.

Very interesting interventions will take place by Erin Simon (Product Counsel, Knowledge at Google), Rolf Hapel (Director, Citizens Services and Libraries Aarhus), Gunilla Herdenberg (National Librarian, National Library of Sweden), Morten Lautrup-Larsen (Deputy Director, Agency for Culture and Palaces) and Marian Koren (Supporter of EBLIDA as co-creator, interim-director and substitute EC-member).
