Our colleague Jeanete Alfaiate da Conceição from the Aveiro Municipal Library in Portugal, sends us the information of this project of social inclusion for the blind and visually impaired, aiming to make reading possible for all citizens regardless of their condition (blind, partially sighted or combating literacy) for all ages. It’s a project to all registered readers of our library with special needs.
The Municipal Aveiro Library offers readers the following services:
- magazines
- braille books
- scan books to audio
Aveiro Municipal Library is one of our most active Sisters, you can check through its tag all the activities she’s been developing since she joined the program.
