On February 17-21 there was winter holidays at Lithuanian schools. So Children literature department “Žalioji pelėda“(Green Owl) of the Panevėžys City Public library invited children to spend holidays in the library offering various activities. One such activity was the screening of an educational film from a collection of European films. The kids watched the movie „Back to school“. The purpose of these films is to put us in the presence of children characters in order to experience their vision of the world. And while their vision is unique, it is just as logical and reasonable as adults’ visions, likely because it is marked by a communicative power of conviction.

After screening and pedagogical activities we had movie making workshop. The kids made our short movies on paper movie tapes and presented to each other.
