We are very happy to announce the incorporation of another Portuguese library to the NAPLE Sister Libraries program.
Oeiras City Libraries is located in the greater Lisbon area, with a population of 170.000. They have 3 libraries, 1 Municipal Gallery, 31 school libraries and 4 beach libraries. They also support the Library Prison and the youth detention center.
Oeiras City Libraries have a wide variety of programs for our patrons in areas as reading promotion, digital literacy and children activities

You’ll also find there a detailed description of their activities and the specific project they want to develop in the Sister Libraries Program.
