We are very happy to announce the incorporation of the first Latvian library into the NAPLE Sister Libraries program. We hope it will be the first of many to come!
The Jēkabpils Municipality Main Library functions as a key regional hub for culture and information, coordinating and supporting an extensive network of libraries across the municipality. The library positions itself as a dynamic hub for knowledge and learning, combining traditional services with a strong commitment to digital resources and innovation.
They’re interested in activities for children and young adults, activities for seniors, cooperation with other organizations, exchange of ideas and expertise and promotion of local culture.
If you want to know more about them, and what they are looking for just go to the Libraries Section and click on its name. You’ll find it under Latvia tab. You’ll also find there a detailed description of their activities and the specific project they want to develop in the Sister Libraries Program.
