We are very happy to announce the incorporation of another Czech library to the NAPLE Sister Libraries program.
The Municipal Library Tábor is located in South Bohemia. The library is a universal public library that serves as a municipal library with four branches in Tábor. Since 2018, the library has also operated an observatory on the top floor of the library building in Jiráskova Street. From the Tábor observatory, depending on the season, it is possible to observe the planets of the Solar System.
In addition to lending books and providing information services, the library also organises cultural and educational events for the general public
