We are very happy to announce the incorporation of another Croatian library into the NAPLE Sister Libraries program.
Virovitica Public Library was established in 1947 and today servees as the county’s central library. It has 18 employees, a collection of approximately 107,000 items, a mobile library service, full-day opening hours, around 4,500 active members, and 11,000 users.
The library is committed to providing all citizens with access to knowledge and information, while promoting reading, lifelong learning, and social inclusion. Its vision focuses on community development through education, culture, heritage, and creative content accessible to all generations.
With this new addition, the programme reaches:
