We are very happy to announce the incorporation of another Spanish library to the NAPLE Sister Libraries program.

Ribadavia Municipal Public Library is a rural library. It serves a population less than 10.000.

The library carries out many projects to promote children’s reading with which we have won several María Moliner awards for reading promotion from the Spanish Ministry of Culture.
In the town hall there is also an OMIX (Municipal Youth Information Office) that has European volunteers every year, with whom the library carries out a close collaboration.

If you want to know more about them, and what they are looking for just go to the Libraries Section and click on its name. You’ll find it under  Spain tab. You’ll also find there a detailed description of their activities and the specific project they want to develop in the Sister Libraries Program.

With this new incorporation, the programme reaches:

133 European public libraries participating!
