We are pleased to be celebrating H.R.H Queen Elizabeth 11 Platinum Jubilee at the library. Her Majesty the Queen will become the first British Monarch to celebrate 70 years of service,

And to celebrate this historic event  we are holding lots of activities and events, These will include crafts for the children where they can design their own crown, decorate a jubilee plate and create a queens guard soldier. As well as word hunts,  activity booklets and adult and children’s quiz sheets.

We have festooned the library with bunting and displays and have some fabulous knitted bunting that has been made for us by our Knit and Natter craft group.  

Knowle village will be closing the road and hosting an artisan street market together with entertainment and treasure hunts.

We are looking forward to celebrating this event as a community.
