The Ribadavia Municipal Public Library has carried out a reading promotion project to raise awareness of the 2030 Agenda among children. An exhibition has been carried out to show children the 17 goals of the 2030 Agenda, as well as the targets of each of the goals. We are sure that we can learn a lot from them. Here is their news:

We have made a selection of children’s books related to each of the 17 goals, some of them have been placed in the exhibition with their corresponding poster of the goal and also a centre of interest in the children’s room with books related to their relevant identification for children to identify with one or more goals.
To encourage the lending of these books, we have created a special children’s card called Guardians of the 2030 Agenda, with grids for each of the goals, to stamp the books they carry for each goal. The aim is that they end up carrying a book of each goal every time they come to the library.
We are complementing this project with a storytelling event on Library Day, 24 October, entitled “The adventures of Marina” related to Goal 14 Underwater Life and we will be holding more storytelling and children’s workshops related to other goals in the near future.
