Description: The Bilozirsk Village Library is the central public library of the Bilozirsk territorial community, serving 8,422 residents, and an important information and cultural center of the community. The library functions as an open space for self-education, self-development, creativity and meaningful leisure of residents of all ages. The main areas of activity: national-patriotic and civic education of children and youth, popularization of reading, development of creative and creative abilities of users, local history work, cooperation with local cultural institutions, updating the library collection and professional development of employees. Creating a barrier-free environment is a priority for the library. The premises are equipped with ramps, a specialized sanitary facility and wide aisles for low-mobility groups. A book delivery service is available for the elderly and people with disabilities. The library also actively supports internally displaced persons, providing a safe space for communication, creativity, psychological support and social adaptation. The institution functions as a community information center: free access to the Internet, assistance in using a computer, printing documents and consulting support. In 2025, the library participated in professional competitions and cultural and educational initiatives. In conditions of martial law, the institution is actively involved in volunteer activities: supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine, weaving camouflage nets, making trench candles, collecting humanitarian aid. The library is open to international partnerships within the framework of the "Sister Libraries" project, is interested in exchanging experience, implementing joint cultural and educational initiatives, developing inclusive services and popularizing Ukrainian culture in the European space.
