Description: Secesja Library is a place dedicated to the city – its architecture, urban planning, design, and everyday practices of living. It combines the traditional function of a library with a space for meetings, dialogue, and reflection on Łódź as a living cultural and social organism. The library’s profile is based on the book as a medium for reading the city: its history, transformations, aesthetics, and daily life. Secesja brings together architects, designers, writers, researchers, and residents to reflect collectively on how the city shapes our lives – and how we, in turn, shape the city. It is a place for those who want not only to observe Łódź, but to truly understand it.
