Description: Dickens Heath Library opened in 2004 and is at the centre of a large, modern village. Dickens Heath is a relatively new village in the borough of Solihull, West Midlands, UK. We are a part-time library, open week days and Saturdays. The library plays a vital role at the heart of the community, has a vibrant and friendly atmosphere, and is popular with a wide variety of customers. We run several regular groups here at the library, including a Coffee Club, Readers Group, Family History group and we offer lots of popular children's activities. We enjoy holding Story Times, Rhyme Times and craft activities and love seeing the enjoyment that these bring to our young library members! We have links with our local Parish Council, local children's nurseries and enjoy a good relationships with local schools. We are an enthusiastic and friendly team here at Dickens Heath library and look forward to twinning with another library, sharing ideas and expertise!
