We are very happy to announce the incorporation of another Scottish library into the NAPLE Sister Libraries program.

Western Isles Libraries provides public and school library services for Na h-Eileanan Siar (the Western Isles) in Scotland. It is made up of four branch libraries in Stornoway (Isle of Lewis), Tarbert (Isle of Harris), Lionaclete (Uist), and Castlebay (Barra). There are also two mobile libraries serving Lewis/Harris and Uist/Benbecula.

They run several library programs such as book presentations, exhibitions, and handcraft workshops. They also offer activities for children and young adults, seniors, and unemployed people.

With this new incorporation, the programme reaches:
