Today we bring you the interesting cultural programme of Santa Maria da Feira Municipal Library. It features a wide variety of cultural activities, and we would like to highlight their “Chá das 11”, a very special cultural gathering that begins with conversations about literature and then branches out into many different directions.
At first glance, it works like a reading club: people who come together to talk about books. However, that is only the starting point. From each person’s readings, the conversation expands and can explore different paths, beyond the pages.
There is no book chosen in advance for everyone. Each participant shares what they are currently reading, what they have already read, or what they plan to read. And the dialogue is not limited to literature: there is also room for film, series, theatre, music, and other artistic expressions worth discovering and discussing.
