Description: R. Granauskas Public Library Of Skuodas Municipality District is located in Skuodas District, one of the smallest districts in Lithuania. The library is an innovative, modern, environmentally friendly, consumer-oriented institution. The Library fulfills cultural, information, and educational functions. The public library is not only information, cultural and educational institution, but a social institution as well. The library is open to all Lithuanian and foreign citizens. Currently, the library consists of 4 divisions and 14 branches spread throughout the Skuodas District, employs 37 employees. We serve children, teens, adults, seniors, and those with special needs of all kinds. The library serves a community of about 20 000. Our activities – information, reading promotion, organizing events (cultural and educational events), training courses (computer literacy training, digital literacy training, etc.), The Table Theatre, “Summer Reading room“ camp for children and adults, etc. The library is accredited as an institution hosting national and international volunteers.
