Description: The Talne Central Library is a structural subdivision of the Cultural Services Centre of the Talne City Council. Our library collection comprises 83,000 copies, of which 25,000 are located in the city. We serve 30,000 people in the community and have three departments: children's, youth, and adult. The library coordinates 28 rural libraries in the community. We have 10 employees serving the city and 28 serving the villages in the community. The Talne Central Library has an information hub that provides digital support to the population and teaches people of different age groups how to use Internet resources correctly. Partnership with EU countries will enable libraries to be preserved and developed in line with international standards. We are very pleasure to learn about the experience of international partnership relations with Finland (the city of Kuusamo). We are also interested in cooperating with other countries, such as Poland, the Czech Republic, and others. We look forward to further cooperation.
