We are very happy to announce that we have a new library in the programme, the 35th   Spanish library to join NAPLE Sister Libraries.

Public library Ánxel Casal opened in 2008 and is highly valued in its community: they have over 40,000 users in a population of less than 100,000 inhabitants. They are a modern library that promotes the implication of their users through different programs. They strongly believe in the library as a learning space, so they offer resources for self-learning in addition to training activities.

If you want to know more about them, and what they are looking for just go to the Libraries Section and click on its name. You’ll find it under Spain. You’ll also find there a detailed description of their activities and the specific project they want to develop in the Sister Libraries Program.

With this new incorporation, the programme reaches:

99 European public libraries participating!
